We are delighted that you've joined us! Please do your part to make rehearsals and performances run smoothly by abiding by the following:
1. Be there, on time.
Make every effort to attend all rehearsals. In order to finish on time, we must start on time. All rehearsals will be at Highland Baptist Church in Monterey and begin at 7:00 p.m. unless your are otherwise notified.
2. Bring your stuff.
Always bring your MUSIC, a PENCIL, and a GOOD
ATTITUDE. Having your personal calendar handy is helpful, too.
3. Take good care of your music.
You are encouraged to mark your music in PENCIL to assist you in singing your best. Never mark music with ink! Also, do not write notes about anything else (rehearsal & performance dates, etc.) anywhere on your music. Write those things on your own paper. Turn in all your music immediately following our final performance.
4. Behave yourself.
During rehearsals, please concentrate on rehearsing! Don't talk to your neighbors while the director works with another section. Listen to those around you: if you can't hear them you are singing too loud. Remember that we are all volunteers and treat each other with courtesy and respect.
